Leftover Turkey Sliders

The holidays always leave us with an abundance of food leftover. Did you know that America leads the world in food waste? Let’s work on that together while creating a quick and easy meal for the family. Here’s a short and sweet recipe to make delicious use of your turkey leftovers this Thanksgiving.

Leftover Turkey Sliders

Ingredients:

12 ct. King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls

3 cups (approx) leftover turkey

½ cup salted butter, melted

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp dried parsley

¼ tsp garlic powder

6 slices (approx) of whatever cheese is in your fridge

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9 by 13 baking dish with parchment paper

Take the bottom half of the rolls together and put them at the bottom of the baking dish.

Cover roll bottoms with turkey.

In a small dish, combine the melted butter, onion powder, parsley, and garlic powder. Spoon 1/2 of the butter mixture over turkey.

Lay cheese slices on top of the buttered turkey.

Place roll tops together on the turkey and cheese and spoon the last of the butter onto the top of the rolls and bake for 20 minutes or until tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.

Enjoy!
